For his formal education, Fernando studied graphic arts in Venice. His musical activity started in 2009 after spending one year in London. He plays with New Candys, where he writes music, sings, and plays guitar and sitar. He also curates albums’ artworks and posters using various technics, such as paintings, collages and photographs. Moreover, he filmed and edited some of their videos.

New Candys’ music has been released on Fuzz Club, The Reverberation Appreciation Society (Levitation Austin), The Committee To Keep Music Evil, Portland-based label Little Cloud Records, Minneapolis-based label Picture In My Ear, Foolica and Shyrec. Fernando is also the European-touring bassist of Lorelle Meets The Obsolete (Captcha Records/Sonic Cathedral) from Mexico.

He has done nine tours in total. With New Candys he played at festivals like Liverpool Psych Fest and Secret Garden Party in the UK, Sydney and Melbourne Psych Fests in Australia, and supported bands like Slowdive, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Savages, Dead Skeletons and The Vaccines. With Lorelle Meets The Obsolete he played at Soy Festival, Liverpool and Oslo Psych Fests, Paradiso in Amsterdam, Vera in Groningen, Lido in Berlin, Ozen Bar in Tel Aviv and supported bands like Moon Duo, Acid Mothers Temple and The Warlocks. Has also recorded a live session at BBC Maida Vale Studios broadcast on BBC Radio 6.

In 2012 New Candys have been interviewed and played live at RAI Radio2. In 2013 he edited a music fragment of an unreleased track by The Strokes' singer Julian Casablancas, creating a full song/video that has reached 1 million views on YouTube and become the main version. In 2015 Orange Amplifiers published two articles about New Candys and Fernando on their website and some of his songs have been featured on official GoPro videos and on three different episodes of Shameless, a tv show aired on Showtime Networks.

Andrea has studied Contemporary Drums at CPM in Milan and got the diploma in 2016. In 2015 he earned a Master in Audio Mastering from the Italian College of Music and New Technologies APM in Salluzzo, plus a Bachelor of Science in Sound Engineering from the Conservatory Cesare Pollini in Padua. In 2016 he worked at Gran Teatro La Fenice in Venice, recording and mixing operas for RAI, and in early 2017 he was a Sound Engineer assistant at Studio G Brooklyn in New York.

He plays drums with Love In Elevator and has co-written, recorded and mixed their latest 7" released on Coward Records, and supported bands link Refused and Shellac. He played drums with Autumn’s Rain, releasing two albums on Go Down Records and Valery Records. In 2016 he did a two-month EU/UK tour as drummer of Mexican band Lorelle Meets The Obsolete (Captcha Records/Sonic Cathedral), playing at Soy Festival in Liverpool, Oslo Psych Fests, Vera in Groningen, Ozen Bar in Tel Aviv, and supported bands like Acid Mothers Temple and The Warlocks. He recorded the New Candys album "Bleeding Magenta" and he toured EU/UK in 2017 and Australia, United States and Mexico in 2018, including a KEXP Session in Seattle, becoming an official member of the band.

In 2011 he set up Fox Studio, where he has since worked as a producer and sound engineer, recording, mixing and mastering different artists from various genres, filming and editing video sessions too.

Under his own music network brand he worked as Press Officer and Event Manager, organizing shows and festivals since 2012 with artists like Be Forest, Any Other, Fast Animals And Slow Kids, A Toys Orchestra, Il Pan Del Diavolo, Lume and many others. He worked as press officer for Garage Records and as FOH and Art Director for Flat, music club in Venice. Since 2012 he has taught drums to children and adults at the music association La Sordina in Venice. He is now endorsed by the drumstick brand MrDrum and previously by Vater Los Angeles.
